Vibhuti Pandey: Bridging Cultures and Communities Through Leadership and Service

Vibhuti Pandey was born in Prayagraj, UP, and has familial roots in the Saran District of Chapra, Bihar. His father, Prof. Janak Pandey, moved to Uttar Pradesh in the early 1970s as a Professor at IIT Kanpur and later at Allahabad University. In 2009, Prof. Pandey returned to Bihar to serve as the founding Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Bihar.

Vibhuti moved to the United States in 1999 for his Master’s in Civil Engineering and went on to complete his PhD in the same field. After spending seven years in Florida, he settled in Dallas in 2008. He soon connected with the leaders of the Bhojpuri Association of North America (BANA) and became actively involved in supporting the Bhojpuri community. Vibhuti has held various roles within BANA, including General Secretary, and President, and currently serves as Co-Chair Trustee.

His commitment to volunteerism has brought immense fulfilment to him and his family, as they actively engage with the Bihari, Eastern UP, and Jharkhandi communities in the Dallas metro area. Vibhuti is passionate about fostering connections, preserving cultural heritage, and strengthening the bonds of friendship within the diaspora community.
